INTELAR runs on first-party cookies and privacy-preserving analytics. No third-party ad pixels, no cross-site tracking. This page names every cookie we set, its purpose, and its lifespan.

Essential (no consent required)

These cookies are strictly necessary for the publication to operate. They do not track you across sites and they do not need consent under GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / nDSG.

intelar_session — session identifier (first-party, httpOnly, secure, SameSite=Lax) — lifespan: session
intelar_csrf — CSRF protection token — lifespan: session
intelar_consent — your cookie-consent state — lifespan: 12 months

Analytics (consent required in EU/CH)

First-party analytics. We use a privacy-preserving setup — anonymised IP, no cross-site fingerprinting. Consent required in EU/EEA/Switzerland under ePrivacy.

intelar_analytics_id — pseudonymous reader identifier (rotated every 30 days) — lifespan: 30 days
intelar_referrer — initial referrer for the session — lifespan: session

AI-feature preferences (consent required)

Stores your preferences for AI-powered reader features (search, summaries). Required only when you actively enable AI features.

intelar_ai_prefs — preferred AI provider region (EU/CH-only vs. US-allowed), feature toggles — lifespan: 12 months

Managing cookies

Change your consent at any time via the cookie banner (visible on first visit and accessible from the footer). You can also delete INTELAR cookies in your browser settings — note that this will reset your preferences and may sign you out.

No third-party advertising cookies, no Facebook/Meta pixel, no Google Ads pixel, no TikTok pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag. Outbound links use rel="nofollow noopener" where appropriate.
